Security Engineer for PAM and Vault Asia

Job description

Tasks

• Development and implementation of privileged access management (PAM) and secrets management (vault) solutions
• Collaborate with global engineering and security teams to ensure high availability, resilience, and compliance of PAM and vault infrastructures
• Analysis of business requirements and security requirements, assessment of technical feasibility, risk implications, and impact on existing systems
• Contribution to the development of secure, scalable architectures, operational processes, and standardized engineering processes
• Maintenance of comprehensive, up-to-date technical documentation
• Conducting troubleshooting and root cause analyses for complex technical problems
• Provision of 2nd and 3rd level engineering support to resolve critical incidents

Requirements

Professional and technical requirements

• Core competency: Experience with privileged access and secrets management solutions, preferably Delinea Secret Server or HashiCorp Vault
• Security engineering knowledge: Practical understanding of key areas of IT security
• Operational excellence: At least 2-3 years of experience in 2nd and 3rd line engineering or operations roles
• Technical skills:
  • Strong system administration on Linux and Windows platforms
  • Experience with automation and infrastructure as code
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments
