Senior Accountant - Banking Operations and Credit Specialist 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

As an experienced bank accountant, you will play a key role within the financial accounting department by handling accounting activities related to lending, banking transactions (including customer and corporate transactions), and the cash department. As a trusted subject matter expert, you will manage daily accounting tasks and actively participate in the department’s ongoing development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements in accordance with IFRS and Swiss Banking GAAP (RVI)
• Provision of technical support in connection with internal and external audits and for reconciliation between financial systems and core banking platforms
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from various departments such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
• Participation in the testing, implementation, and introduction of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
• Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls, analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes
• Provision of training for employees and creation of user documentation (primarily in English)
• Financial accounting support for individual locations worldwide
• Ensuring consistent compliance with internal control systems

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• A degree in finance or business administration, along with additional training in accounting (e.g., a professional certificate in finance and accounting, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or banking and finance)
• Several years of professional experience in bank accounting, preferably in the areas of lending, banking transactions, or corporate actions
• Experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems is required
• Solid knowledge of banking products, particularly in the area of lending
• A good understanding of IFRS and Swiss banking GAAP (RVI) is an advantage.
