Job description

Tasks

• Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements in accordance with IFRS and Swiss Banking GAAP (RVI)
• Expert support for internal and external audits as well as for reconciliation between financial systems and core banking systems
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders across various departments, such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
• Participation in testing, implementation, and rollout of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
• Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls, analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes
• Training of employees and creation of user documentation (mainly in English)
• Support for individual locations worldwide from a financial accounting perspective
• Ensuring consistent compliance with internal control systems

Requirements

• Completed degree in finance or business administration with further training in accounting (e.g., professional certificate in finance and accounting, bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or banking & finance)
• Several years of professional experience in bank accounting, preferably in the areas of lending, banking operations, or corporate actions
• Experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems required
• Solid knowledge of banking products, particularly in the area of lending
• Good understanding of IFRS and Swiss GAAP (RVI) is an advantage
