Senior Accountant - Banking Operations and Credit Specialist 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

As an experienced bank accountant, you will play a key role within financial accounting by covering accounting activities for lending, banking (including customer corporate actions), and the cash department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements in accordance with IFRS and Swiss banking GAAP (RVI)
• Provision of expertise in connection with internal and external audits and for reconciliation between financial systems and core banking platforms
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from various departments such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
• Participation in the testing, implementation, and introduction of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
• Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls, analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes
• Provision of training for employees and creation of user documentation (primarily in English)
• Support for individual locations worldwide from a financial accounting perspective
• Ensuring consistent compliance with internal control systems

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a person with:

• Completed training in finance or business administration with further training in accounting (e.g., professional certificate in finance and accounting, bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or banking and finance)
• Several years of professional experience in bank accounting, preferably in the areas of lending, banking transactions, or corporate actions
• Experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems is required.
• Solid knowledge of banking products, particularly in the area of lending
• A good understanding of IFRS and Swiss banking GAAP (RVI) is an advantage.
