Senior Administrator - Fund Governance

As a Senior Administrator on the Fund Governance team at EFG Wealth Solutions in Jersey, you will coordinate day-to-day operations, conduct compliance reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The position requires at least two years of experience in the financial industry and involves managing client portfolios and supporting business development.

Tasks

  • Maintain awareness of other business areas and fund services, and identify opportunities to promote services; escalate issues to the head of the client department.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client's activities and ensure that all necessary actions are carried out accurately, in a timely manner, conscientiously, and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records with a strong focus on data integrity and internal obligations.
  • Preparation, coordination, review, and implementation of the necessary agenda items.
  • Recording, documenting, and maintaining appropriate customer due diligence (CDD), including relevant documentation, in the PureClient system.
  • Preparing periodic reviews, trigger-event reviews, and other ad hoc tasks for fund governance purposes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, local regulations, and Group and local policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and applying appropriate standards related to anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.
  • Meeting the requirements for continuing professional development (CPD) through relevant training and continuing education.

Requirements

  • A strong academic background, including a GCSE (or equivalent) in English and mathematics with a grade of C/Level 4 or higher.
  • Recognized professional certification (e.g., accounting, Chartered Secretary, STEP, banking, law, or a relevant tax certification) or a willingness to obtain such certification, with relevant AMIC/GT/CPD accreditation.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry within an organization located in an offshore financial center.
  • Experience in securities, compliance, or other financial regulations is desirable.
  • A strong commitment to delivering customer excellence.
  • Understanding of customer administration and trust services.
  • A strong knowledge of and understanding of the local financial sector, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Ability to effectively manage workloads and meet various deadlines.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of PureClient, Frontline, and/or NaVision is preferred.
