Senior AI Governance Manager

LGT is seeking a Senior AI Governance Manager to design and implement group-wide standards for AI governance within the organization. The ideal candidate has experience leading projects and initiatives in an international matrix organization and is known for a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.

Your area of responsibility

As a Senior AI Governance Manager, you will play a key role in designing and implementing group-wide standards for AI governance within the organization. In this role within the Center of Excellence, AI Frameworks, you will work closely with both your own team and an external team.

Your tasks

  • They maintain an overview of AI use cases, inventories, and documentation to ensure transparency, auditability, and consistent governance across various locations.
  • They monitor regulatory and industry-related developments related to AI, data, models, and digital banking, and translate these into practical requirements for the organization.
  • They prepare clear reports, recommendations, and decision-making frameworks for senior stakeholders, such as the CEO and the steering committee.
  • They promote awareness and acceptance of Responsible AI through training, guidelines, and close collaboration with teams across the Group.

Your profile

  • You have a proven ability to promote topics, initiatives, and stakeholder alignment within an international matrix organization without having direct personnel management responsibilities.
  • They are characterized by a structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with strong analytical skills and the ability to ask constructive questions.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English skills and can clearly translate complex technical and regulatory topics into actionable business recommendations; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications or continuing education in the areas of AI governance, risk management, compliance, auditing, data protection, or information security are also preferred.
