Senior AI Test Automation Engineer
The position of Senior AI Test Automation Engineer at Julius Baer in Madrid involves developing and implementing test automation solutions for the company’s AI and ML platform. The Senior AI Test Automation Engineer is responsible for the architecture, implementation, and execution of test automation solutions and works closely with other teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the platform.
Tasks
- Design and Evolution of Technical Test Automation Approaches and Test Framework Architecture for ML and AI-ART
- Development of reusable, scalable test automation patterns
- Analysis and evaluation of requirements, features, and user stories for testability
- Automating test cases using Python-based frameworks
- Development and implementation of AML-specific test cases
- Integration and orchestration of automated test runs in GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Planning, scheduling, and triggering automated test runs
- Monitoring the health of test execution and maintaining a low false-positive rate
- Preparation of proofs of implementation and reports
- Contribute to PI planning, system design, Inspect & Adapt, and other SAFe ceremonies
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Python-based test automation
- Ability to design and maintain test automation frameworks
- Practical experience with integrating and running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of test execution, parameterization, flaky test management, and modern reporting tools
- Solid knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AI/ML systems or a strong desire to develop this expertise
- Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
