Senior AI Test Automation Engineer

Tasks

• Develop and oversee a technical test automation solution for the AI and ML Ops platform
• Be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and execution of the test automation solution
• Further develop and adapt the test automation approach and test framework architecture for ML and AI-ART
• Design and implement reusable, scalable test automation patterns
• Analyze and evaluate requirements, features, and user stories for testability
• Derive and automate test cases based on technical and risk-based analysis
• Automating test cases with Python-based frameworks
• Design and implement specific test cases for AI/ML systems
• Integrating and orchestrating automated tests in GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Provisioning and managing test environments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Plan, schedule, and trigger automated test runs
• Monitor test results, identify and correct faulty test cases
• Communicate quality signals to the team, product owners, and test managers
• Actively participate in PI planning, system design, Inspect & Adapt, and other SAFe ceremonies

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Python-based test automation
• Ability to design and manage test automation frameworks
• Practical experience with integrating and running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in test automation design, test specification, flaky test management, and modern reporting tools
• Basic understanding of ETL and version control tools
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AI/ML systems or a strong desire to develop this expertise
• Understanding of AI/ML design patterns, microservices architecture, and authentication layers
• Basic understanding of SRE and DevOps principles
