Senior Credit Analyst, Middle Office
The Senior Credit Analyst in the Middle Office at Man Group supports the Fixed Income team in managing credit portfolios, including security price controls, net asset value calculations, and trade settlement. The role requires technical expertise and the ability to contribute to process improvements and collaborate on ad hoc projects.
Job Summary
The Fixed Income Team, Credit Middle Office team is responsible for security price controls, NDS (Net Asset Valuation) calculations, fee modeling, and portfolio rebalancing via Funder/ManBook structures, as well as for settling trades and reconciling FIX feeds related to client cash flows via Mans Public Markets Fixed Income Trading Desk. The team works closely with the investment and market risk teams to support portfolio processes and make decisions. The Senior Analyst demonstrates technical expertise and the ability to contribute to process improvements and collaborate on ad hoc projects.Specific tasks
The tasks include:- Review and analysis of fixed income assets and derivatives (including credit default swaps, bonds, loans, and other fixed income investments), with a focus on their pricing and profit and loss calculations
- Support for daily operational processes, including hedge fund valuations and reconciliations of fixed income trading
- Performing ad hoc analyses as required
- Conducting fixed income-specific valuations, including yield curve analysis, term calculations, and credit metrics
- Collaborate with various internal tools and databases to deliver fixed income reporting and analytics
- Contribution to process improvements and automation initiatives in the area of fixed income fund operations
Technical development
The tasks include:- Contribution to the continuous improvement of systems, controls, and workflows related to fixed income fund administration
- Learning and selecting new and existing programming tools to improve processes and reporting
Stakeholder engagement
The tasks include:- Collaborate with team members and other departments on daily activities and long-term projects

Technical skills
Required:- Previous experience in fixed income fund accounting, fixed income valuation, or fixed income operations
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets: credit derivatives, interest rate products
- Strong knowledge of fixed income valuation methods
- Strong analytical mind with the ability to solve complex problems
- Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and be part of a larger team
