Senior Analyst, Cyber Security Threat Management

Tasks

• Conduct incident analyses of security alerts in the SIEM and respond using security runbooks and playbooks, as well as by exercising personal initiative and skills.
• Collaborate with security teams to develop SIAR and automation solutions that improve the efficiency and speed of incident response.
• Skills in the emerging field of AI, with a focus on threat triage and remediation.
• Designing, reviewing, and fine-tuning alerts to improve efficiency.
• Mentoring and coaching within the team on newly developed procedures and playbooks.
• Escalate incidents as needed to trigger further immediate action.

Requirements

• Creative and imaginative problem solver. Adversarial mindset; understanding of threat actors’ objectives and TTPs.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the fields of information technology or cybersecurity, including security operations and incident response.
• Programming knowledge and aptitude.
• Demonstrable affinity for and interest in cybersecurity as a potential career change.
