Senior Analyst, External Alpha Middle Office

Tasks

The Middle Office’s External Alpha Team provides trading support, as well as cash, position, and price reconciliations. The team also calculates estimated net asset values (NAVs) for funds. These estimates are reconciled with the final NAVs produced by the fund administrator. As a Senior Analyst, you will be part of our operational support team and continue to develop broader functional and technical expertise. You will also contribute to the development of tools and reporting solutions used across the company—utilizing AI, Excel, and internal databases to deliver critical reports and analyses.

key areas

The tasks include:

• Review and analysis of fund profit and loss statements across various asset classes to support performance reporting for the external alpha business
• Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and estimates of total fund values, including reviewing accrued income and performance
• Verification of reconciliations between custodians, prime brokers, and internal records; coordination of investigations and resolution of discrepancies
• Collaborating with fund administrators to reconcile fund holdings
• Ensuring the integrity of asset manager data and prices in internal systems
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver reports and analyses

Desirable qualifications

• Experience in the financial sector (investment banking, asset management, or treasury)
• Professional certifications (CFA, accounting certifications) or a degree in this field
• Experience with fund and fund-of-funds structures
• Knowledge of fund accounting
