Senior Analyst, External Alpha Middle Office

Tasks

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Reviewing and analyzing fund profit and loss statements across various asset classes to support performance reporting for the external alpha business
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and estimates of fund securities holdings, including reviewing accrued income and expenses
• Verifying reconciliations between custodians, prime brokers, and internal records; coordinating investigations and resolutions
• Work with fund providers to reconcile final fund securities holdings
• Ensuring the integrity of asset manager data and prices in internal systems
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to provide reporting and analytics

Trade & Fund Support

• Providing trading support functions and fund-of-funds trade execution as needed
• Processing Corporate Actions
• Addressing Investment Restrictions
• Supporting liquidity management

Technical development

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and workflows
• Designing process improvements and automation solutions
• Learning and using new programming tools to improve processes and reporting

Stakeholder engagement

• Collaborate with team members and other departments on day-to-day activities and long-term projects
• Clearly communicating results and recommendations to various stakeholders

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems

• Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to grasp complex issues
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and skills
• Strong understanding of traditional financial markets

Desirable

• Qualifications in the financial services sector (investment banking, asset management) or an equivalent role
• Professional certifications (CFA, accounting certifications) or a degree in this field
• Experience with front- and middle-office fund structures
