Senior Analyst, London Investment Operations

Purpose of the role

You will become an integral part of a diverse trading and settlement team for both equity and cash derivatives worldwide. The successful candidate will work closely with existing relationships with prime brokers, custodians, and exchanges/switches to identify and manage risk across all trading, settlement, and recovery processes.

Specific Responsibilities

• Monitor, Analyze, Take Action, and Report on Daily Trading and Settlement Processes
• Work closely with the Trade Management and Settlement/Processing teams
• The primary responsibility is to work closely with the trading and sales teams to create and maintain the new trade list.
• Contribute to the entire trade lifecycle (create, match, confirm, settle).
• Resolve issues that arise during daily operations involving various clearing participants.
• Optimize communication and relationships with exchanges, clearing houses, and back-office teams
• Resolve day-to-day issues arising from the clearing and settlement process, working with internal and external partners.
• Proactively participate in continuous improvement projects related to clearings.
• Assist with implementing improvement ideas and new projects relevant to the regional business.
• We will continually strive to improve our onboarding process by identifying and mitigating risks, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to support the onboarding of new clients.

• Highly proactive, with the ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and focus on key tasks.
• Ability to manage stress and prioritize in fast-paced environments
• A strong attention to detail and accountability for one's own work, combined with a sense of responsibility, professional pride, and awareness.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• A strong understanding of technology relevant to trading, settlement, and post-trade processing.
