Senior Analyst, Middle Office Accounting

About the role

The Middle Office International team supports external alpha managers by providing trade support, position reconciliation, and price reconciliation. As a Senior Analyst, you will independently carry out key operational processes while further developing your functional and technical expertise.

Tasks

* Operations & Analytics:

• Reviewing and analyzing fund accounts (PAM) across various asset classes to support performance reporting for external alpha strategies
• Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and estimates of fund net asset values (NAV), including the review of accrued income
• Reconciling NAVs between custodian banks, prime brokers, and internal records; coordinating investigations and resolutions of NAV discrepancies
• Collaborating with fund managers to reconcile final fund balance sheet figures
• Ensuring the integrity of asset manager data and prices in internal systems
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver reports and analyses

* Trade & Fund Support:

• Providing trade support functions and fund-of-funds trade execution on demand
• Processing Corporate Actions
• Managing Investment Items
• Supporting liquidity management

* Technical development:

• Contribution to the continuous improvement of systems, controls and workflows
• Developing processes, infrastructure, and automation solutions
• Learning and using programming tools to improve team processes and reports

* Stakeholder engagement:

• Collaborate with team members and other departments on daily activities and long-term projects
• Clearly communicating results and recommendations to various stakeholders

Requirements

* Strong understanding of fund structures and investment strategies * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * High level of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts * Familiarity with financial markets and systems; ideally with experience in investment products * Comfort with technology; Man Group is a technology-driven company where all employees use internal tools to support their daily work

Desirable

* Experience in financial services (investment banking, asset management, or treasury) * Professional qualifications (CFA, accounting qualifications, or similar) relevant to this field * Experience with feeder/master fund structures * Knowledge of fund accounting
