Senior Analyst, Middle Office Accounting
The Senior Analyst in Middle Office Accounting is responsible for monitoring security prices, NAV calculations, fee modeling, and portfolio valuation, and supports daily operational processes. The role requires technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to improve and automate processes.
Job Summary
The middle office department is responsible for security price controls, NAV (net asset valuation) calculations, fee modeling, and portfolio valuation for various investment management teams. As an existing middle office function, the team is involved in setting price levels and influencing FICC-related hedge positions for client capital. The role involves independently executing key operational processes and further developing technical and operational expertise.Tasks
* Review and analysis of financial products and derivatives, including their pricing and profit/loss calculations * Support for daily operational processes, including hedge fund valuations and reconciliations * Working with various technology tools and data to solve problems and perform analysis * Contributing to process improvements and automation initiativesTechnical development
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's systems, controls, and workflows * Learn and apply programming tools to improve financial processes and reportingStakeholder engagement
* Collaborate with team members and other departments on daily activities and long-term projects * Communicate results and recommendations clearly and concisely to various stakeholdersProfessional development
* Utilization of training opportunities in technical and financial topics * Development of technical skills to improve departmental infrastructure * Contribution of ideas for process improvement and efficiencyRequirements
