Senior Analyst, Middle Office Accounting
The Senior Analyst in Middle Office Accounting supports the monitoring and control of risks in the capital market, the calculation of net asset valuations and portfolio administration. The role also includes leading process improvement initiatives and mentoring junior analysts.
Job description: Senior Analyst, Middle Office Accounting
Tasks
- Independently review trade and analytics of financial products and derivatives, including their pricing and profit/loss calculations with both on desk (Big Numbers) and internal systems.
- Take care of data operational processes across: daily NAV calculations, Fund Budget Reviews, reconciliations and risk-based controls.
- Work with various teams to close and analyze data delivery reporting and analytics
- Lead process improvement initiatives and automation projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Represent the team on cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to senior management
- Take initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Stay up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the team
Requirements
- Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to solve complex problems independently
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members
- Strong academic background in a quantitative or analytical field (Mathematics, Finance and Accounting, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science) and/or professional qualifications

- Prior experience in Middle Office (Risk, Operations), (SLA, or data analytics experience
- Familiarity with US/IBBOT or other system controls
