Job Summary
The middle office department is responsible for security price controls, NAV (net asset valuation) calculations, fee modeling, and portfolio valuations across Man Group's traditional funds. The middle office function serves as an internal audit function to set investment limits and continues to develop comprehensive technical and operational expertise. The team develops tools and reporting systems, conducts studies on asset classes using Python, Excel, and other databases to deliver robust reports and analysis.Tasks
The tasks include:- Review and analysis of financial products and derivatives, including their price and profit/loss calculations
- Support for daily operational processes, including hedge fund valuations and reconciliations
- Working with various technology tools and databases to deliver reports and analyses
- Collaboration on process improvements and automation initiatives
Technical development
Technical development includes:- Collaboration on the continuous improvement of systems, controls, and workflows
- Learning and applying programming tools to improve financial processes and reports
Stakeholder engagement
