Senior Analyst, Middle Office Solutions

Tasks

The Solutions Middle Office is responsible for security valuation checks, NAV calculations, fee modeling, and system implementation across our funds, as well as for instructing FX hedges in connection with client capital flows. As a Senior Analyst, you will independently execute key operational processes while further developing your technical and operational skills. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Review and analysis of investment fund prices and performance across various asset classes to support reports for asset managers
• Calculation of the net asset values (NAVs) of Man Group’s funds on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Communicating with fund management and investment teams to acquire and manage investment instruments
• Review of foreign exchange exposures and reporting to asset managers
• Verification of reconciliations between custodians, prime brokers, and the investment teams
• Preparation of ad hoc reports for asset managers and senior management
• Maintenance of performance and monitoring metrics and analysis

Requirements

Experience in the financial markets, typically at an investment bank, a fund management firm, or an asset management company. Strong background in similar control functions. Strong knowledge of traded financial instruments across various asset classes. Experience with NAV calculations, fund accounting, or price controls is desirable. Experience using tools such as Python is advantageous.
