Senior Associate, Cloud Security

Tasks

• Design, implementation, and support of security measures for cloud platforms (third-party, open source, native), with a particular focus on Azure and AWS
• Development of Policy-as-Code (PaC) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, while adhering to security policies and procedures that comply with industry-standard frameworks such as CIS and NIST 800-53
• Use and implementation of CSPM tools such as Wiz and Microsoft Defender for Cloud to continuously assess, monitor, and enforce security controls
• Work closely with security champions in various business units to advise and support them regarding their specific security needs
• Contribution to the Cloud Security Roadmap for Further Improving Cloud Security Practices
• Conducting regular security assessments, audits, and reviews of cloud configurations
• Investigating and responding to security incidents, conducting root-cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions

Requirements

• Proven experience working with the public cloud in an engineering or development role
• Extensive expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Knowledge of Python or familiarity with Python-based DBCode tools and automation frameworks
• Experience with Git-based version control systems, CI/CD processes, and technologies (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitHub Package Repository)
• A deep understanding of cloud security principles and the integration of security into development workflows
• Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with privileged access management and identity systems (e.g., Azure Entra, Okta, Ping Identity)
• Experience with data classification and protection frameworks
• Security certification is an advantage
• Eligibility to work in Ireland at the time of application and throughout the entire period of employment
