Senior Associate or Vice President, Real Estate and ABS Solutions in the Global Markets Division in London, UK.

Key aspects of the role

- Support in structuring and executing structured finance transactions for special finance RE platforms and portfolios of RE-backed loans - Research assets and markets relevant to potential or existing transactions to form trading views and inform transaction structuring, due diligence, and execution - Coordination of transactions throughout their lifecycle (origination, support, and follow-up) - Work is primarily desk-based - Work is guided by a combination of formalized and ad hoc project management - Preparation of internal transaction approval memos and collaboration with credit risk and other control functions throughout the transaction lifecycle

Requirements

• At least 4-5 years or equivalent experience in structured finance at investment banks or buy-side firms
• Strong understanding of real estate and/or mortgage-backed securities; relevant experience in warehousing/portfolio/CLOs; financing desirable
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in RE-secured credit structuring and be comfortable with credit documentation.
• Strong quantitative and technical skills, including financial modeling and excellent attention to detail
• Proven project management, analytical, and credit skills
