Senior Associate or Vice President, Real Estate and ABS Solutions

Tasks

• Underwriting, structuring, and execution of structured finance transactions for specialized real estate platforms and portfolios of real estate-backed loans
• Research on asset classes and markets relevant to potential or existing transaction parties; identification of buyers and counterparties; determination of transaction structures and risk management
• Coordination of transaction due diligence and execution workflows with third parties, consultants, and legal counsel
• Modeling transactions throughout their entire lifecycle (origination, underwriting, trading, and disposition)
• Collaborate with other client coverage teams to identify and evaluate transactions
• Preparing internal transaction approval memos and collaborating with rating agencies

Requirements

• At least 4–5 years of experience, or equivalent experience, in underwriting structured finance transactions
• Extensive knowledge of real estate and mortgage loan assets
• Proven experience in RE-backed lending
• Strong quantitative and technical skills, including the ability to perform financial modeling
• Proven project management, analytical, and credit skills
