Senior Associate

Job description

The Senior Associate position supports performance reporting, data collection, and data validation for the LP Services team within the Alternative Investment Solutions team. Team members also assist with onboarding new clients, system migrations, and special projects, as well as with supervising and mentoring the Associates on the team.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Review of planned and ad hoc investment performance and corporate exposure reports prepared by the associates
• Preparation of scheduled and ad hoc investment performance and corporate exposure reports for review by management
• Conducting ongoing quality checks to ensure data integrity for review by officers
• Work with our data collection team to investigate and resolve issues
• Collaborating with our clients' investment managers to gather outstanding financial information
• Membership and supervision of associates on the team
• Supporting management during the transition to new clients, system migrations, and special projects

Requirements

The requirements include:

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (B.A./B.S./M.S.)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in private equity or alternative investments is a plus
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and senior-oriented skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-based environment

Additional skills

• Ability to work in various web-based applications, MS Excel, and MS Access
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, independent, and a team player
