Senior Azure Security Engineer

Tasks

• Responsible for the design, implementation, and support of secure, scalable, and efficient cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders on the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based infrastructure.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure that cloud environments comply with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Leadership in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure projects, taking into account performance, security, and scalability.
• Practical experience and implementation of scalable log ingestion and data pipeline designs for the efficient collection, transformation, and analysis of log data from various sources.
• Migration and onboarding of complex, diverse data sources across security platforms while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Promote the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks and best practices, including Terraform and ARM templates.
• Automation of cloud deployments, including networking, storage, computing, and monitoring.
• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and management.
• Providing support and guidance to junior engineers on Azure best practices, IaC, and cloud architecture.
• Design and implement robust security practices and policies in accordance with Azure security standards (e.g., Azure Security Center, Key Vault, etc.).

Requirements

• Proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud infrastructures.
• Expertise in Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, security, etc.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure IAC, and ARM templates.
• Proven experience using CI/CD pipelines to automate cloud-based infrastructure.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
