Senior Back-End Developer - C100% (f/m/d) (Contract through our external payroll partner, immediate start through March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension)
Senior Backend Developer at Julius Baer in Zurich (100%, contract through March 31, 2027) to develop and maintain the structured products platform, with a focus on scalable backend solutions and API integrations.
Tasks
- Design, development, and maintenance of a web-based, scalable application with a focus on backend development
- Provide technical support and collaborate with business teams and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Participation in architectural discussions, design reviews, and technical planning
- Operation and monitoring of environments, including Windows Server, IIS, SQL, and infrastructure components
- Development and refinement of APIs to facilitate data integration with other systems
- Testing and optimizing designs to improve scalability and performance
- Conducting code reviews via pull requests and pair programming
- Support for on-call coverage, including triage, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
- Coordinate with PM, UAT, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment among stakeholders
- Taking responsibility for projects and improvements from start to finish
- Initiating improvements in efficiency and processes to support continuous improvement
- Mentoring, coaching, and supporting colleagues in their professional development
