Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer

Your Role

• As a Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you are at the forefront of banking innovation and deliver cutting-edge integration solutions that enable exceptional client experiences at scale.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR/OpenShift)
• Develop robust integration solutions using the Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG)
• Contribute to strategic integration projects involving bidirectional, real-time message streaming (Kafka)
• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across multiple channels
• Partner with infrastructure and release management teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality, from design to deployment
• Support testing campaigns and rollouts

Your Profile

• Higher education (university or university of applied sciences) in computer science, business information systems, or a related field
• Professional certification from Avaloq Academy—such as Avaloq Certified Integration Professional (ACIP)—is an advantage
• 5 years of practical experience in the field of system integration in the banking industry
• Experience with Avaloq
• Knowledge of OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, and .NET is a plus
• Ability to evaluate problems and set priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
• Fluency in English
