Senior Big Data Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Supporting the Data Engineering Team with various tasks related to central platforms
• Development and optimization of technical platforms, infrastructure, and frameworks
• Governance per Platform
• Monitoring code comments using CI/CD pipelines, deployment to test environments, efficient and automated deployment processes
• Support for the engineering teams in the architecture and operations of the core platforms
• Platform Development for Core Big Data, Analytics, and Data Science
• Ensuring the Operational Reliability of the Big Data Platform and Data Engineering
• Database, Development, Data Enrichment, Scripting, and Configuration Management

Requirements

• Completed higher technical education (university of applied sciences/university) in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or a comparable field
• Experience with data structures, including data models and databases such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Scala, SQL, and Java
• A deep understanding of data engineering principles and practices, including data modeling, data integration, data quality, and data governance
• In-depth knowledge of working with big data tools and frameworks
• Experience in a cloud environment, particularly in the development and operation of applications
• A team player you can count on, who works independently, takes responsibility, and acts on their own initiative
