Senior Business Analyst – Financial Systems & Data Transformation

The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in enhancing efficiency and innovation in financial operations. The position bridges business requirements and technology solutions through rigorous analysis, alignment with business objectives, and stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying opportunities for improvement, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Data Modeling: Data modeling principles and practices, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
• Solution Development: Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and test solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve overall performance
• Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences, to ensure understanding and acceptance of solutions
• Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to support business decisions, identify trends, and measure key performance indicators
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including business case studies, user stories, and reports, to support project delivery and ongoing operations
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free of errors
• Change Management: Supporting organizational changes by communicating changes to stakeholders and providing training and guidance as needed

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in investment banking, asset management, or wealth management
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, instruments, and markets
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP S/4HANA and BWI/4HANA, trading platforms, risk engines, or core banking applications
• Practical knowledge of enterprise data architecture and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant data structures
• Previous experience with large-scale transformation programs is highly advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced PowerPoint skills for storytelling and visualization are highly valued
