Senior Business Analyst - Market and Treasury Risk
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Market and Treasury Risk with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and experience working with risk data and systems. The position is advertised as an 80–100% role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Tasks
The position of Senior Business Analyst - Market and Treasury Risk involves the following responsibilities:- In-depth understanding of market and treasury risk processes, including associated control requirements and regulatory drivers
- Practical experience with risk data, risk management systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso), and downstream control environments
- Taking Responsibility and Ownership in Solving Problems
- Identification of potential gaps, inconsistencies, inefficiencies, or emerging risks, and proactive resolution
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Academic degree (bachelor's or master's) in finance, economics, engineering, business administration, computer science, or a related field
- Practical experience with risk data, risk systems, and downstream control environments
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data flows and system interfaces
- Proficiency with modern agile collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and similar platforms
