Senior Business Developer (South East)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Developer (100%) for our US office in Miami to strengthen our business development team for US customers in the Southeast.

Tasks

• Development of our own network of financial advisors at US financial institutions
• Development of a proprietary network of centers of influence, business introducers, and direct prospects
• Advising US financial advisors and prospective clients; recommendations covering multiple products and services, as well as our unique Vontobel asset management offering
• Effectively manage relationships with financial advisors, influencers, business introducers, and take ownership of the customer/prospect experience
• Leverage the company's specialist and expert resources to ensure the integrated delivery of our sales proposition, products, and investment solutions.
• Compliance with risk and compliance requirements and guidelines

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business development, either in private wealth management for HNWI or UHNW clients and/or in the sale of financial products and services to other financial institutions
• An established network of financial advisors at US financial institutions, centers of influence, and business introducers in the Southwest, and the ability to develop a sales pipeline and close prospects.
• A motivated, customer-focused and solution-oriented employee with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Proactive attitude, analytical and structured thinking
• Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, team player who can work under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages such as Spanish, French or German are a plus
• A self-motivated personality with a hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to teach and mentor
• Willingness to travel in your area

Compensation

• The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $250,000.
