Senior Business Developer

Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers' US office is seeking a Senior Business Developer to join the West Coast US client development team. The new hire will be expected to build a dedicated network of financial advisors and influencers and act as a trusted advisor to US financial advisors.

Job description: Senior Business Developer

Tasks

  • Development of our own network of Financial Advisers at US financial institutions
  • Development of an own network of centers of influence, business introducers and direct interested parties
  • Advising US Financial Advisers and prospective clients as a trusted advisor; recommendations that include multiple products and services as well as our unique USP's
  • Developing a deep understanding of the needs, preferences and overall situation of prospects and customers
  • Managing relationships with customers and interested parties
  • Utilize company specialists and expert resources to ensure the integrated delivery of our sales proposition, products and investment solutions
  • Adherence to risk and compliance requirements and guidelines

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, either in private wealth business for HNWI or UHNWl clients and/or in selling financial products and services to other financial institutions
  • Established network of Financial Advisers at US financial institutions, Centers of Influence and Business Introducers on the West Coast and the ability to develop a sales pipeline and close prospect opportunities
  • A motivated, customer-focused and solution-oriented employee with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive attitude, analytical and structured thinking
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, team player who can work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages such as Spanish, French or German are a plus
  • A self-motivated personality with a hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to teach and mentor
  • Willingness to travel in your own area

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $250,000.
