Senior Business Manager, Clients

The Senior Business Manager, Clients (80-100%) at Sygnum is responsible for the lifecycle management of client processes, including onboarding, monitoring and maintenance, as well as optimizing business processes and leading a business intelligence team. The candidate should have experience in Swiss banking regulation, strategic planning and process optimization.

About the role

  • Client Processes:
    • Oversee the entire client lifecycle management process, including onboarding, monitoring and ongoing maintenance, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
    • Ensuring seamless integration of products within the Client Division
    • Management of the CRM and other relevant tools, including the development and improvement of new functions
  • Compliance, Risk & Audit:
    • Working closely with the compliance team on client-related processes such as onboarding and transaction monitoring
    • Main contact person for external and internal audits in relation to client areas (e.g. AML, cross-border, suitability)
  • Innovation:
    • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency through process optimization, intelligent tools and automation
  • Customer Analytics:
    • Leading the Business Intelligence team and guiding the development of customer intelligence dashboards
    • Ensuring robust reporting capabilities tailored to the needs of different stakeholders

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of Swiss banking regulation
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a structured and disciplined approach to execution
  • Proven ability in strategic planning and leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in business operations optimization, change management and organizational development
  • Experience in product management and digital platform development
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a solution-oriented attitude and enthusiasm for task automation
  • Strong analytical skills to ask the right questions, gather and structure requirements and turn them into actionable insights
  • Effective communicator with the ability to bridge business and technology areas
  • Professional language skills in English; German is a strong plus
