Senior Business Risk Manager

Tasks

• Be heavily involved in the control of documentation, execution and correction (control framework), including the provision of training
• Participate in our governance, act as deputy to the Head of Risk at SFA, prepare and distribute materials, document our discussions to ensure transparency, and track fulfillment of action items
• Manage small projects, process improvements, audit preparation and execution, and records management activities in a constantly changing environment
• Manage the risk and control self-assessment process, assess inherent and residual risks and have a holistic view of all risk rubrics
• Automate controls where opportunities are identified, using skills to work with Excel scripts/PowerShell/macros, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Python

Requirements

• Process/product knowledge: You are familiar with banking processes and products; you have worked in a back office or other operational role
• Experience with automation, process improvement and coding or macro knowledge; especially with Excel (macros/PowerShell) and/or Python
• Very good English language skills and outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills; German language skills are also an advantage
• Highly organized, with exceptional time management skills and project management skills
• Not afraid to dive into details to document, execute, substantiate findings and communicate constructively and graciously with outstanding stakeholder management skills
• Highly motivated and fascinated by systematically learning new SFA processes in detail, identifying risks, assessing the extent and documenting and communicating own learning outcomes to others
