Senior Business Transformation & Project Manager (80-100%)

Sygnum is seeking an experienced Senior Business Transformation & Project Manager to lead complex change initiatives and support the operational scalability of the organization. The new hire will work closely with stakeholders to turn strategic vision into reality and drive key change initiatives.

About the role

We are looking for a collaborative, results-oriented leader to help us scale our operational capabilities and implement some of our key change initiatives. In this critical role, you will work closely with stakeholders across various business and corporate functions to shape the future of our bank. You will champion our transformation agenda in a dynamic environment, ensuring that ideas are turned into actions and strategic visions become reality.

Main tasks

  • Leading the end-to-end execution of strategic transformation initiatives
  • Management of RFPs, external partner onboarding and operational rollout planning
  • Coordination of interdisciplinary projects from planning to delivery
  • Understanding and improving our operating processes
  • Promoting alignment with internal stakeholders (products, technology, operations, legal, compliance) and external partners
  • Managing risks, deadlines and delivery commitments with clarity and confidence

Ideal candidate

You are a highly structured and action-oriented leader who thrives at the intersection of project delivery, business analysis and stakeholder engagement. You combine strategic thinking with the ability to dive into detail and create clarity where complexity exists. You bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in highly regulated industries (banking, insurance, market infrastructure, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of core banking and/or capital markets infrastructure and services
  • A proven track record of managing transformation programs with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong relationship building and vendor management skills, including experience with RFPs and partner onboarding
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to structure ambiguities into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders
  • High sense of personal responsibility and perseverance in delivering results
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fast-growing or scaling environments
  • Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain or the broader FinTech ecosystem
  • Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum)
