About the role

As an Execution Developer at Man Group, you will develop the tools, platforms and algorithms that enable Man's investment teams to drive their global trading operation.

Their challenges will be diverse and may include the development of new executable algorithms, the platforms on which they run or connectivity to trading venues and brokers, tools for high-speed processing of market data, market education capability, post-trade performance analysis and software to optimize all aspects of trading philosophy.

Requirements

Required skills

• Expertise in C++
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Familiarity with strong software engineering technologies and agile methods
• Professionalism in working on Linux systems

Advantageous skills

• Familiarity with financial markets and instruments
• Experience with C++/Java/Python/Linux
• Experience in working with quants and/or traders
• Experience with front office software and/or trading systems
• Expertise in the development of price or alpha signal engines in C++
• Relevant mathematical knowledge
