Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (M365 & Azure) to join our team in Geneva. You will serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft 365 and Azure and help us modernize our work environment and infrastructure within a highly professional private banking setting. You will design and implement cloud and hybrid solutions, drive the adoption of M365, and support key infrastructure projects (servers, storage, virtualization, desktops). You will also serve as a technical resource for other IT teams on all cloud-related topics (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).

Tasks

• Design, build, and deploy cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solutions in accordance with the bank’s IT strategy and architectural standards
• Participation in the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects related to systems (servers, storage, virtualization, desktops)
• Contribute to defining and implementing the technology direction, vision, and strategy to enable and accelerate the adoption of cloud technology
• Conducting or supporting application readiness assessments, environment design, and configuration for M365 and Azure workloads
• Conduct prototyping of new environments, server builds, and configurations to validate solutions prior to production release

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering with a strong focus on M365 and a solid understanding of Azure
• Solid experience with Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and hybrid environments
• Practical experience with cloud migration and implementation
• Accustomed to working in a complex, regulated environment; experience in the financial services/banking industry is a plus
• A comfortable environment in a small, highly specialized team with a proactive and collaborative attitude
• Fluent English (native speaker); French is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A high degree of personal responsibility, reliability, and integrity, in line with the standards of a private banking environment
