Senior Compliance Officer - Foster a positive and engaging culture of compliance and risk awareness within the company. - Ensure compliance with the Bank’s regulatory obligations by appropriately identifying, evaluating, investigating, and resolving compliance and risk issues. - Identify, understand, and interpret Swiss and international financial regulations and circulars, as well as guidance issued by the banking industry.Location

- Experience (5–10 years) covering business areas such as Wealth Management, Asset Management, and Treasury - An analytical, well-informed, and creative approach to problem-solving - Ability to work independently and ensure the highest level of accuracy and accountability - Knowledge of computers and IT systems (Avaloq +) - Ability to work under stress and time pressure - Assertiveness, strong communication skills, and ability to interact with the front office - Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken); Arabic is a plus - Residence in Switzerland (required)Tasks
- Screening relationships and transactions - Reviewing account openings (KYC) and related documents (accounts held by individuals, companies, and financial intermediaries) - Monitoring, clarifying, and assessing higher-risk transactions as well as those related to sanctions - Handling AML investigations, including preparing suspicious activity reports for MROS and following up with authorities - Freezing accounts - Reviewing and accepting ad hoc new documentation (e.g., FATCA, QI, CRS forms, CDB forms) - Monitoring accounts to ensure compliance with Art. 305bis of the SPC - Periodic reviews of PEP, high-risk, and low-risk relationships - Investigations and follow-up with relevant authorities - Responding to inquiries from third-party banks/fiduciaries regarding specific transactionsJob details
