Senior Compliance Officer - Client Tax Compliance (FATCA, QI, and AEO/CORS), AML, and CDB

Tasks

• Ensure the accurate and comprehensive documentation of clients’ tax records in accordance with IRS (Internal Revenue Service) tax laws and the registration procedures for group membership with International Tax Administration Services (ITAS), and ensure that reporting procedures to the IRS are correct.
• Ensuring the correct tax classification of individuals and legal entities for FATCA, QI, and AEOI/CORS.
• Monitor data quality for regulatory reporting and collaborate with various departments to implement quality controls.
• Planning and conducting the three-year FATCA audit (TAU) in the first instance.
• Role as a “partner for the client” with regard to AFC for AEOI/C and QI, as well as for FATCA GROUP REPUTATION.
• Verify that the customer information is accurate in accordance with the report from the Central Office for FATCA-Swiss Governmental Entity (SWE) and the registration with the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
• Manage the compliance status of information related to individuals with regard to AML, KYC, CDR20, AEOI/CORS, and AML, as well as monitor compliance with anti-money laundering laws and identify customers in relation to MROS.
• Verifying data quality for FATCA, QI, AEOI/CORS, AML, and KYC.
• Assume the role of Key User for Compliance to handle technical updates and participate in data management within the Einaudi environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in compliance within the Swiss banking sector, preferably in private banking.
• Expertise in banking taxation and compliance with AML, QI, and AEOI/CORS regulations.
• Expertise in dealing with government agencies, monitoring, and investigations.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian (C1/C2 level) and fluency in English.
• Familiarity with market analysis tools and skills in data processing and analysis.
• Proficiency in using MS Office tools and skills in data processing and analysis.
• A professional, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in one of the following languages: Italian, French, German, or English at the C1/C2 level.
