Senior Compliance Officer (Fraud Management & Investigations)

Migros Bank is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer (Fraud Management & Investigations) for a permanent position with an 80–100% workload, in which the candidate will work independently and efficiently as part of the compliance team. The position offers a wide range of responsibilities, such as conducting risk assessments and case analyses, as well as attractive compensation and various executive benefits.

Tasks

As a Senior Compliance Officer specializing in Fraud Management & Investigations, you will work independently, competently, and efficiently as a key member of our compliance team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Active participation in discussions initiated by the bank and Change the Bank to address our compliance issues
  • Preparing risk assessments and case analyses on compliance issues, reviewing and drafting guidelines, and assisting with the implementation of these guidelines
  • Development of training materials and training of employees on compliance topics
  • Close collaboration with Line of Defense employees, risk roles, and other staff departments

Requirements

We are looking for an inclusive, well-connected, and agile individual who is very knowledgeable about this topic. Your profile should meet the following requirements:
  • At least 6 years of professional experience
  • Master's degree program (university or university of applied sciences) in law; a master's degree is preferred
  • German (business-level), French (proficient), English (proficient)
  • Practical experience in fraud prevention and detection
  • Extensive knowledge of compliance issues and a strong professional network
  • Strong IT skills and confidence in using relevant tools and systems
  • Experience in payment processing
  • Continuing education in fraud prevention and detection, as well as in investigations
