Job description

Tasks

• Daily compliance assessments for client onboarding processes, with a focus on Swiss, European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets, and contributions to senior management level
• Sanctions-related analyses in close cooperation with technical experts
• Monitoring ex-ante transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Advising stakeholders across both lines of defense
• Management of regulatory measures, reporting and responses
• Training on compliance topics for the first line of defense
• Contribution to the overall development of the compliance function

Requirements

• A robust, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to risk management
• A reliable and trustworthy business partner
• A professional employee with high personal and professional integrity
• Strong knowledge of core compliance topics and their practical application
• Proven experience as a compliance officer, preferably with higher risk clients in Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East and Asia
• Excellent stakeholder management and diplomatic skills, especially when working with business units
• Experience in helping business units achieve sustainable, long-term growth while managing the risks of sensitive client relationships
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency-related compliance issues and the ability to assess risks and opportunities in this area
• Language skills: English (mandatory), French, German and preferably Arabic
