Senior Compliance Officer Private Clients CH / Western Europe / Middle East / Asia

The candidate will be part of the Private Clients Compliance Lifecycle team and will work closely with the business and other units to resolve complex compliance issues.

Tasks
- Daily compliance assessments for client onboarding, focusing on Swiss, European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets, and contributions to senior management level
- Monitoring transactions in advance
- Advisory support for stakeholders in both lines of defense
- Regulation-based measures, reporting and responses
- Training on compliance topics for the first line of defense
Requirements
- A robust, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to risk management
- Strong knowledge of core compliance topics and their practical application
- Experience as a compliance officer, preferably with high-risk clients in Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East or Asia
- Excellent stakeholder management and diplomatic skills, especially when working with business units
- Evidence of successfully supporting business units in sustainable, long-term growth while managing risk in sensitive customer relationships
- A collaborative team player who is results-driven and solution-oriented
- A trustworthy and reliable business partner with high personal and professional integrity
- Influential communication with intercultural sensitivity
- An independent and accurate individual who works with business units, compliance stakeholders and managers on a daily basis in a decentralized role in Geneva
- Fluency in English and French (mandatory); Arabic or German is an advantage
