Senior Compliance Technology Lead
The Senior Compliance Technology Lead is responsible for leading compliance technology projects and is expected to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by designing systems and working with business units. The candidate should have experience in regulatory compliance, technical project management and communication.

Tasks
- Design for systems and user subsystems using a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs.
- Leading and guiding junior employees, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork and communication.
- Advise business unit partners to determine the most effective use of computers to solve business problems or meet business needs.
- Management of system projects, including project planning, status reporting, system specifications and implementation.
- Review, negotiation and maintenance of supplier contracts and recommendations for the purchase of external services.
- Communication with various business units and external suppliers, consultants and customers regarding automation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all audit requirements, including change control procedures and data security.
Requirements
Must have:
- In-depth experience in regulatory compliance change and rules.
- Hands-on technical experience with Horizon Scan, GRC systems and other compliance capability systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the system development cycle, client area functions and systems, and technology alternatives for application programming.
- Analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.
- High flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the goals of the business unit, the resources required and to help develop the skills of employees.
Preferred:
- Additional experience with eComml monitoring and trade monitoring systems.
- Additional experience with archiving and data retention, legal retention capabilities.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experienced expert with technical and business knowledge and functional expertise developed over several years.
- Experience in system analysis and application programming.
- Experience with project feasibility, definition requirements, design and/or project management.
- Experience with various technical programming languages and other related studies is an advantage.
