Senior Credit Officer Swiss Mortgages

Tasks

• Assuming responsibility for analyzing, structuring and underwriting mortgages and improving the quality of the loan portfolio
• Provide solutions and risk-oriented support in structuring credit solutions, proactively working with stakeholders in the front organization to ensure risk-appropriate solutions
• Support in the implementation of the mortgage strategy and participation in related projects and initiatives as a specialist

Requirements

• University degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent higher education
• At least 10+ years of experience in the financial industry and in a loan underwriting role
• Excellent understanding of the mortgage business, the end-to-end process and the Swiss real estate market
• Strong analytical and structuring skills, combined with a can-do attitude, the ability to independently assess risk and enable business through a strong customer and service orientation
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in German and English (French would be an advantage), combined with the ability to develop and maintain professional stakeholder management
