Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Tasks

• Assistance with the further development of security operations
• Development of security concepts for IT operations (certified to ISO 27001, ISO 27701, REX, and BAZL)
• Operation and Expansion of the Security Incident Response (SICere)
• Planning, design, and analysis of solutions, as well as the technical aspects of projects
• Management of cybersecurity projects
• Independent execution, coordination, and monitoring of vulnerability and compliance assessments
• Development of an in-house cybersecurity lab for testing new technologies and tools
• Planning and Conducting Penetration Tests
• Preparation of reports for management
• Supporting business units and functional departments with cybersecurity issues
• Monitoring and Analysis of the Current Threat Landscape
• Participation in projects related to ICT operations
• Maintaining and Updating Documentation
• Assistance in determining IT security standards
• Regular reports and reporting to senior management

Requirements

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or experience in the field of security law
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position or in a related field
• German (business fluent)
• English (fluent)
• Certifications (preferably CISSP, CISM, CEH) — a plus
• Experience using tools for network, system, and cloud security
