Senior Data Analyst

Tasks

• Contribute to the implementation of analytical solutions, statistical techniques, and methods to effectively collect, organize, synthesize, and interpret data in order to meet professional requirements
• Providing support to audit teams by helping them understand the data available in various systems and serving as a driving force behind audit engagements, analyses, scenarios, and operational processes
• Conducting exploratory analyses as part of various audit engagements to refine expectations and identify opportunities for data utilization, interpret the results, and assist in their presentation
• Contributing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the enhancement and further development of audit methods
• Definition, technical implementation, maintenance, and regular updating of indicators and dashboards that utilize the available data
• Contribution to the maintenance and further development of the technological infrastructure for conducting data analyses (data quality, automation, reliability)

Requirements

• A university degree with a specialization in information technology, information systems, data analytics, data science, or a related field
• First professional experience that provided a basic understanding of the banking industry
• Extensive knowledge of databases, programming languages (SQL, Python, MATLAB), and analysis and visualization tools (Tableau)
• Basic knowledge of applying statistical or predictive models to enhance data analysis
• Diligence, curiosity, creativity, critical and analytical thinking
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing (in French); knowledge of German and/or English is a plus
