Senior Data Engineer (Temporary) (80% - 100%)

Tasks

• Made significant contributions to the design and development of a high-performance data infrastructure on the bank’s big data platform, as part of an agile, multidisciplinary project team
• Implementation of complex data pipelines with high requirements for availability, scalability, and security
• Further development, maintenance, and operation of applications and data processes
• Supporting users in the line departments with business processes
• Improving and further developing our automation of test, build, and deployment processes

Requirements

• A university or university of applied sciences degree in data science or computer science (master’s or doctoral degree), with excellent knowledge of data engineering and software engineering
• At least three years of relevant experience in the areas of data architecture, data processes, or data management
• Excellent programming skills in Python, Spark, and SQL
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes cloud technologies, as well as Docker and the Azure cloud platform
