Senior Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Architect

Your tasks

• Assuming the role of Senior Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Architect
• Ongoing Development and Architecture of the Internal Data Lifecycle, Integration, and Platform Development
• Development of the new data platform, which provides customers and employees with better data to support informed decisions
• Development of a modern, forward-looking database structure to better understand customers and employees
• Laying the groundwork for innovative analytical applications based on data from our Data Marketplace
• Further development of data structures and interfaces with a view toward future AI and adaptive analytics
• Ensuring that all stakeholders can use all technologies

Your requirements

• Several years of experience as a senior data engineer, data warehouse architect, and/or in similar IT roles
• Experience in analysis and development processes (including agile projects)
• Functional experience, technical architectures, and successful changes; expertise in implementing functionality and delivering solutions
• In-depth knowledge of the DATA ecosystem and data-driven applications with a clean hybrid architecture
• Concepts and Data Modeling for Big Data (a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of relational systems, data modeling, and dimensional models
• Knowledge of entity-relationship models (ERM) and dimensional models (star schema, etc.)
• Extensive experience as an architect in Data Factory, SQL, and Business Intelligence
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of personal responsibility
• Very good knowledge of German
