Senior Data & Reconciliation Manager, Finance (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Senior Data & Reconciliation Manager Finance who will be responsible for developing and implementing a harmonized reconciliation framework and who has experience with financial systems such as SAP S/4HANA or Temenos. The position is a fixed-term contract for approximately 5 years (until March 31, 2028, with the possibility of extension).

Tasks

- (Re)valuation, accounting entries, cost allocation, and P&L generation to ensure compliance with reporting requirements - Assessment of the impact of revised data flows and redefined master data ownership on existing reconciliation processes, identification of gaps and dependencies along the financial control chain - Development of a harmonized, end-to-end financial/banking reconciliation framework that reduces manual effort, increases transparency, and aligns with the new system architecture to replace fragmented legacy reconciliations - Facilitation of reconciliation through regular engagement of subject matter experts, creation of structured materials, planning of meetings, and targeted decision-making materials for review by stakeholders and approval by senior management - Close collaboration with functional delivery teams during the solution development, configuration, and testing phases to ensure that the implemented data structures and reconciliation logic meet business requirements and accounting standards

Your requirements

  • Experience with systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or BWI); experience with Temenos or other core banking applications is a plus
  • Experience with the migration of legacy systems, including planning, execution, and post-implementation testing
  • Proven experience in requirements engineering, with a strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into practical, context-appropriate solution options
  • Proficient in documenting, modeling, and structuring complex business processes, data flows, and system functionalities using established techniques and tools
  • He has experience in effectively organizing and presenting information for various target audiences and purposes, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional knowledge transfer
  • Seniority to represent financial interests in large programs
  • Practical experience in delivering project requirements in a pragmatic manner and managing complex dependencies
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus
