Senior Data Science Analyst

Tasks

As a Senior Analyst on the Data Science team, you will acquire, wrangle, map, and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to support investment research and decision-making. Your responsibilities will span the entire data lifecycle—from sourcing data from vendors to analyzing data and prototyping pipelines. You will be expected to develop AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery and drive adoption across the bank.

Requirements

The following requirements are essential:

• 4+ years of proven experience in data wrangling, time series analysis, statistical techniques, and data-driven roles
• Proficiency in the Python data science stack (Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, Spark, Matplotlib) with experience using APIs and developing code to solve computational challenges
• Practical experience in software/DevOps, Unix/NIX, and SQL
• Excellent software engineering skills - Willingness and ability to work effectively with AI development tools as part of the daily workflow
• Ability to present technical findings and concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with data-driven tools and methods such as databases or graph databases, along with a willingness to explore them and proactively drive data-driven solutions
• Strong academic background with a degree in a STEM field

The following requirements are desirable:

• Previous experience working with investment professionals in a fast-paced environment
• Experience writing ETL pipelines and proficiency in SQL
