Senior Data Science Analyst

The role
As a Senior Analyst on the Data Science Team, you will collect, prepare, model, and analyze structured and unstructured data to support investment decisions. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert on selected projects—conducting fundamental research, performing exploratory analysis, and delivering insights.Main tasks
- Collaborate with investment teams to identify data opportunities, propose creative use cases, and recommend solutions to enhance investment strategies.
- Acquisition, transformation, and analysis of large, complex, and unstructured datasets to support investment research and decision-making.
- Ensure that data scientists (KPs) conduct statistical tests and prepare research reports to create an accessible knowledge base for investment teams.
- Help design and develop our data-driven platform to streamline the data acquisition process and ensure its ongoing maintenance.
- Development of rapid proof-of-concept products and tool-driven tools, in collaboration with the technology team, to bring the technology stack into production.
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven experience in data collection, time series analysis, statistical techniques, and data analysis.
- Proficient in the Python data science stack (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Matplotlib) with experience in managing A/B tests.
- Sharing code to support the development process.
- Practical knowledge of software, DevOps, and cloud engineering—including data acquisition and the ability to effectively use AI development tools in daily workflows.
- Ability to present technical findings and concepts to non-technical audiences.
- An empirical thinker, with a willingness to gain a deep understanding of investment strategies and proactively drive data-driven solutions.
- Strong academic background with a degree in a STEM field.
Nice to have
- Previous experience working with investment professionals in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Experience with ETL pipelines and proficiency in SQL are preferred.
