Senior Development Engineer
Sygnum is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Zurich to join the Client Lifecycle Team and develop scalable solutions in Dynamics 365, Azure, and .NET/Java. The role involves implementing APIs, AI agents, and cloud integrations, as well as mentoring junior developers in a regulated fintech environment.

About the role
- We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to strengthen our Client Lifecycle team. You’ll play a key role in enhancing the value of our Client Lifecycle Management systems across all stages of client onboarding.
- Design and implement scalable solutions in Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, Power Platform, and Azure
- Design and implement APIs and backend services in C#/.NET and Java/Spring Boot
- Design and implement AI agents based on Java and Python
- Expand the use of Power Platform plugin applications and Power Automate flows
- Build end-to-end integrations using Azure Functions and API Management
- Configure and secure Azure infrastructure for integration scenarios
- Ensure high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate across functions and provide support for enterprise reliability, security, accessibility, and compliance
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle—from design to production
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Our Ideal Candidate
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- 1–2 years of experience in APIs and backend development (Fluent)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Experience working on compliance-driven projects, such as those in fintech, healthcare, finance, insurance, etc.
- Proven experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, Power Platform, or other SaaS solutions
- Experience with SaaS subscription software
- A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and secure cloud architecture
- A proactive mindset with a passion for solving problems and fostering collaboration
- Agile, self-driven approach and self-learning (e.g., AWS)
